Sylvia Rivera latina activist, Stonewall rioter and founding member of The Gay Liberation Front. Without her there would probably be no TBLG rights in this country. Quite simply there are a lot of trans women, trans men and gender queers who have fought the long odds and managed to carve out careers and families in a hostile world. Now we want the right to live our lives openly as who we are, we won’t give up and we’re tougher then you can imagine.
