Dancing With The Green Fairy

I have been dancing with the Green Fairy a lot lately. She is a very pleasant companion and not at all the evil seductress portrayed in Hideous Absinthe: A History of the Devil in a Bottle (Tauris Parke Paperbacks) and other books. It’s not at all suppressing that I should find such a storied drink fascinating. It was, after all, the favored drink of Oscar Wild , Rimbaud and Verlaine . What writer would not want to be in such illustrious company?
