Maybe it's too much to hope that even though the trailer looks like every other piece of slick, overworked Hollywood tripe the film itself won't be a piece of slick, overworked Hollywood tripe.
I felt the same way when I heard The Creature From The Black Lagoon was being remade--and I haven't even seen the trailer for it yet.
