Random Thoughts On A Tuesday Night

Change that you can’t see, Obama is continuing a lot of Bush’s policies. Oh there has been change for the better such as repealing the global gag rule and ending the stem cell ban. But he still shoves money at failed financial; companies with out asking for any change while making Detroit jump through hoops to get money for the big three. He is only reducing the number of troops in Iraq while doubling down in Afghanistan, not a good move. He is actually increasing the amount of money going to the Constitutionally suspect faith based initiatives. Too much business as usual still it hasn’t even been 100 days so there is still hope.

My gender is fluid and I love that. Really why do we have to be either male or female? Most of the time I don’t really feel either one. It is time for a Gender Queer Revolution.

A Bondage Depilation/Wax Scene

Mina Meow mentioned a bondage depilation/wax scene; I mentioned I would love to be in that sort of scene. Mina called my bluff asking ‘If you could write the script, how would the scene go for you?’ So let’s sketch out the scene shell we? This will be a rough outline, as I like the unexpected in a scene.

To start I should mention that I haven’t really transitioned much I’m still male bodied. That said I still have WAY too much body hair that I would love to be rid of and what better way than a semi-public wax/depilation scene? I have been involved in wax play before and have done self-depilation so I know what I’m getting into.

I would be bound spread eagle in rotating frame so my top could have easy access to my whole naked body. Ze would use wax not quite hot enough to burn me, ze would start at my extremities with toes and fingers and work semi-randomly inward. The size and timing of the areas being waxed and depilated would vary so I could never anticipate what would happen next. It would be a total depilation, head, eyebrows, and all body hair to go. The top would save my tits and gentiles for last. I debate being blindfolded and gagged, I think no blindfold but a nice inflatable gag so I could totally surrender to the pain. After ze had finished with me I would be left on display as and example of ze’s art to be fondled and toyed wth for the rest of the night.

Mmmm. I get very hot just thinking about it.

Sudden Onset Depresion.

I take everything the wrong way; a chance remark or the lack of one can set me off. When that mood strikes I want to burn my bridges under me cutting myself off from part or the entire world. That mood just struck, a mood of hatred and black depression. I want to lash out and kick a friend away for what is probably no good reason. I’m gong to go to bed and try and sleep this off before I get really mean and nasty.

What Is Wrong With The U.S.?

I mean really why is the U.S. the only industrialized country with out a national health care system? A national health care system makes economic sense, U.S. auto companies build a lot of cars in Canada because there is a built in savings of $400 to $500 a car in not having to pay for health insurance. In addition a national system encourages people to go to the doctor for preventative health care cutting down on sick days. Add in the fact that countries with national health care spend far less per capita on health care and you have a pretty overwhelming argument for a national system, so why don’t we have one The only thing I can think of is that the U.S. insurance industry has been paying shills like Rush Limbaugh to lie to people about a national system and/or the American people are just stupid. Whatever the reason we need a national health care system now.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately because a dear friend, Alexander Yoo, has been very sick and has had to ride it out with no medication because ze doesn’t have any health insurance. I find this unacceptable and Obama’s plan inadequate. National health care now!

My Colour

My colour from Colourisim . Just give them your name and birth date and they give you your colour in hex code, very geeky. Mine is #3C38D, a lovely dark blue, and it’s companion colour is #8D8D3C, a nice shade of green. Interestingly that result was for my chosen rather than my birth name. Didn’t like the colours for my birth name at all.

Following Some Threads

Even knowing what solving the puzzle box in Hellraiser would bring I would totally do it. I do want to explore the outer reaches of sensation, I also want to BE the female Cenobite.

Since 52% of my fellow Californians decided that my fellow queers and I were not really human there has been a surge in anti-gay hate crimes . A totally predictable happening that again putt’s the lie to the whole ‘love the sinner, hate the sin’ bullshit from the theocrats. This wasn’t about saving anything, it was about hatred of the other in this case we queers.

Random Association

Still a little light headed from the flu so lets go for some random association. I was reminded of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty last night and remembered how much I identified with Maleficent rather than Beauty or the Prince. I was attracted to the strong, powerful woman with the magnificent clothes. Much of that sensibility remains with me to this day; I still like the dark and dramatic in clothing.

How Progressive Am I?

While I don’t really like the term progressive, the old progressives of the early 20th century were a racist lot, by the terms of this test I am very progressive scoring 316 out of 400. Of coursed I prefer to think of myself as a radical. Remember, Direct Action Gets The Goods!

Why So Afraid?

Really why are the self-professed religious so very afraid of we queers? From Pope to preacher to Imam they denounce us and call for our death, or at the least, for our persecution. I know we aren’t the only ones the ultra-religious fear, they also seem to fear women. Is it their oh so precious masculinity we threaten? They are very insecure, it seems even the mildest questioning of their faith can destroy it. So maybe their masculinity is just as fragile, exposure to anything, which offer an alternative to their macho self-image could turn them into flaming fagots. Of course I think that would be a good thing even if their fragile egos can’t handle it. I am sick and tired of them taking their insecurities out on us. I say we make their worst fears come true and totally destroy their society and build a new one in it’s place.

Stay Sick

Still very sick so a couple of songs and a few random thoughts

A Little late for International Woman’s Day but why is there any controversy over woman having equal rights with men? I mean really are men that insecure that if women have a life of their own and equal opportunity that they’ll never get laid? Even as a former man I don’t understand it.

Obama is wining me over, On Wednesday he announced a White House Council on Women and Girls and among the invited was Mara Keisling of the National Center For Transgender Equality . To be acknowledged by the President that way is a big fucking deal.

A Band To Watch Out For

Alison Bechdel is arguably the best graphic novelist in the world today. Her books such as The Essential Dykes to Watch Out For and Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic are nothing short of brilliant. But wait! There’s more! It seems talent runs in the family, her brother, John Bechdel, has a band. False Icons is very good reminding me of the best of Hawkwind . Take a listen,

Now go buy their album and help the economy. Patriotic and stylish, who could ask for more?

Is It April 1st Already?

OK this comes straight from Variety ,

Elton John's Rocket Pictures hopes to make the first Jane Austen adaptation to which men will drag their girlfriends.

Will Clark is set to direct "Pride and Predator," which veers from the traditional period costume drama when an alien crash lands and begins to butcher the mannered protags, who suddenly have more than marriage and inheritance to worry about.

Sadly enough if this is real I would probably go see it.

Hat Tip to Mick Farren

Questions

Can Watchman break even? It only had the 13th best opening for a comic book adaptation behind The Incredible Hulk which would have been a money loser if not for it’s foreign box office. The question is how big will the second week drop off be? If it’s in the range of the Hulk, 60.1%, then the Watchman will be a financial disappointment.

A related question, do the ends ever justify the means? My answer is no, never for the means shape the ends. Thus the Soviet Union became everything Marx had fought against because they used terror to achieve their ends. It wasn’t the first time that happened nor the last. Gandhi and King believed that the ends should shape and dictate the means and were more successful in achieving their ends because of this.

What is so funny about peace, love and understanding? Really why are the concepts of peace, love and understanding so often derided by ‘realists' when their violent solutions just lead to more violence?

I like questions which is why I dislike religion and other authoritarian power structures that promise to take away the questions and make you sure.

Watchman

Is not a movie I much cared about and had no plans to see. Than I cam across this review. I mean who wouldn’t want to see it after reading something like this,

The end of this gory, perverse, anti-American movie affirms the international, socialist, humanist worldview of the radical left. The one hero who believes in good and evil is considered an obstacle to progress. Although there are some positive references to faith in Jesus, there are many more references mocking faith, including a mean satire of Leonardo Da Vinci’s reverent painting of the Last Supper and denigrations of God. Ultimately, WATCHMEN’s perverse interest in sadomasochistic images of gore and blood and its prurient interest in graphic sex scenes shows how morally and intellectually bankrupt atheism, socialism, liberalism, and leftist ideology have become.

Or this,

WATCHMEN is a convoluted adaptation of an acclaimed, but nihilistic, graphic novel about masked crime fighters trying to find out the reason behind the murder of one of their own. WATCHMEN is a repulsive, mediocre, overlong movie filled with gory violence, graphic sex, extreme nudity, and humanist, anti-American values promoting a socialist utopia where liberty, justice and goodness are destroyed for the sake of totalitarian peace.

I was indifferent to this movie but now I want it to break box office records. Because if it does it will mean people who agree with this,

f this movie succeeds, it will be a travesty. Please warn your family and friends. If your children still insist on seeing it, and you don’t want to believe this review, go and watch it first. You have never seen so much gore, blood, sex, and sadism, especially in a major action movie that’s trying to get a broad mainstream audience.

Late Night Wandering In My Mind

We are complex and unique creatures who do not fit well into little boxes. That goes triple for gender identity and sexual orientation. My own gender identity tends more to the fem, but there are male aspects and other aspects that do not fit anywhere near the gender binary. But what I really want to explore is ‘sexual orientation’, a term I don’t like. It’s a term that reeks of the sexual binary. It implies that there is only hetro- or homosexuals with bisexuals allowed only as the confused. That my friend is crap, more people have a broader range of people they are sexual attracted to then is generally realized. From my own experience there are a lot of straight identified men who are attracted to pre/non op trans women. They are often repulsed by the thought of sex with a man but a woman with male genitals turns them on. Interesting isn’t it? The term I have come to prefer is object of desire. I can be sexually attracted by a wide verity genders with a variety of sexual attributes. I often wonder how much of the pain and sorrow in the world is caused by various societies pounding people into little boxes which the so don’t fit into.

A Bit Of Random Association

My gender identity is very fluid. Looking back on my child hood I realized I moved from stereotypical boy things to stereotypical girl things with ease. That stopped in middle school but that’s another story. The point is I still feel very gender fluid, I sometimes think I could be happy as a slightly feminized eunuch. It would let me present as butch or femme as the mood took me. As for sex, I like giving head and would probably be quite content as a passive sex toy. Ah but there are other times when I want to be the revved up leather bisexual biker chick; fucking men senseless and then leaving the poor saps to go cuddle with my cutie. Hell I need to be a pretty little shape shifter to keep up with my shifting gender identity.

Nature verses Nurture is a debate that should have long sense ended, it is both with environment thrown in for good measure. We are complex and unique creatures who do not fit well into little boxes.

Atheist Quote Of The Day

During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry, and persecution. – James Madison
